Mint & Moolah

The free label maker for coin collectors

Mint & Moolah makes the paper information label that sits under each coin in a coin album page or holder sheet. Measure your album, enter the sizes, fill in the labels and print.

How it works

  1. Measure your album page

Measure one coin pocket (width and height) and the strip on the left that goes into the binder. Enter the numbers in millimetres.

  2. Fill in the labels

Type the country, year, denomination or mint mark – or switch a cell to a picture or 16×16 pixel art.

  3. Download the PDF

The PDF is made at exactly the sizes you entered, ready to print.

  4. Print at 100%

In the print dialog choose “Actual size” or 100% scale – not “Fit to page” – so the labels line up with the pockets.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mint & Moolah free?

Yes. It is completely free to use, with no account and no sign-up.

Will the labels fit my coin album?

They will if you enter your album’s measurements. Every size is set in millimetres and the PDF is created at exactly that size. The default layout – 3 × 4 cells of 60 × 58 mm with a 30 mm margin – is 210 mm wide, the width of an A4 sheet.

Why are my printed labels the wrong size?

Your printer is probably scaling the page. Print the PDF at “Actual size” or 100% scale and turn off “Fit to page” or “Shrink to fit”.

Is my work saved?

Yes. Your layout is saved automatically in your own browser on this device. Nothing is uploaded to a server, so use the same browser to continue later.

Can I save my own album sizes?

Yes. Under “My templates” you can save the current layout – with or without the labels – and use it again later. Templates are stored only in your own browser, never on our server, and you can export them as a file for backup or to move them to another computer.

Which pictures can I use?

Any picture your browser can open, such as PNG or JPEG. Simple black-and-white drawings, flags and mint marks print best.

Can I use it in Danish?

Yes – Mint & Moolah is available in English and Danish. Use the language switch at the top of the page.
